Default Premier 4

I just bought the premier 4. Has anyone heard if it's good or bad? How can I tell what shock oil it comes stock with? When I push the car down it doesn't come right back up. Need a good place to get parts.
Thanks.

Scott the premier4 comes with Cen 30wt...
you can set your preload on the spring with a few clips
There are several good online stores but any local hobby shop can order you the parts... most hobby shops use horizon and HRP as distributers

If you are way far out from a good source you can place a special order through CEN/Genka 714-792-1923

I went to that site and my lhs was on it but they don't carry parts. They said they would have to order them.

Hey Notch, Thanks. I used the big clip on the springs but no difference. To get it to rebound faster would I use lighter or heavier oil in the shocks? This is my first RC so I'm not to good with all this stuff. Also what would be a good body for it?
Thanks, Scott

I have a magnum and a mt and I put 50wt in them and that made them a lot better, mine were the same way, too thick oil, Shocks were soooo slow, I heard they put 70 wt in there from the factory and since I put 50wt in and it is a lot thinner that means that they do come with really thick oil from the factory.

Thanks heidmann1. Do you also have the NX 3.0 in that truck also? I took my premier out today to try to tune it. It's sluggish off the line I try to lean it out a little but then it starts to run hot. I have cut all kinds of holes in the body but nothing works. Don't know which glow plug it is. Like I sayed before I'm new to this so if anyone can help me I'd like it very much.
Thanks.

Make sure it is not sticking in 2nd gear, mine did that a few times whe nit was brand new and it was slugggish because starting in 2nd. Richen up the top end needle again ,then lean it out till it runs good a full throttle , then go to the low end needle and try richening it up and leaning it out and see where it runs best at. The botttom end needle is going to change the off the line power. My 3.0 took me a little while to get it perfect, but now it is crisp off the line.......Hope this help.......

We will see how that works this weekend coming up. Where is the cheapest place to get a good AT. tire at. The little nobbies are about gone. I run it on the pavement and grass mostly.

Does anyone know if the parma chevy truck bodies will fit right on this car. I want to find a body that I don't have to cut all up to keep it cool. I was thinking truck so the engine could stick out the bed and hopefully the pull cord also.

What would be a good tuned pipe for this engine? Would dual exhaust fit or would it be worth it to put that on?

Here's a picture of my premier 4. This was my first paint job. I had a couple of problems with the paint masks but o well. I'll post more when I get my Gators stickers on it.
