Default NT 16

I got a 4 wheel drive car cheep. the needle settings on the carb are all screwed. i need a good starting place, can anyone help?

From fully screwed in - try between 2.5 and 3.5 full turns out on the high speed needle, and on the low speed, you want the screw head flush with its surround. Thats the factory settings if I remember rightly. Good luck.

According to CEN:

Top end: 3 – 3 ½ turns out
Bottom end: Flush – 1 turn in from flush
Idle gap: 1mm
Recommended engine temp: 210 – 230 degrees Fahrenheit
