Ok i've been searching here and on the cen forum and can't seem to find anyone that's addressed the issue i'm having with my new gst. I am on tank 4 so i'm just mosy'n around my circle and i'm noticing that the drivetrain doesn't seem smooth. When I accelerate the front end bounces around alot.. when I get up to a semi stedi speed it tends to smooth out but upon re-acceleration bounce bounce go's the front end.. I don't see any obvious issues in the drive train from just looking and manually actuating it with the motor off.. there is quite a bit of slack in the drivetrain but i'm guessing that's semi normal.. If I drive in a straight line at like say 1/8th throttle it looks like a buckin bronk..

any thoughts?

Kinda hard to diagnose your problem without seeing it,,got a video?

well i just ran a half tank and tried to get a vid but it's real hard to see the issue in the video. I did notice some shuttery sounds on acceleration and then the noise would go away at higher speed and the truck smoothed out.. I wonder if once I lean it out and get it tuned if the problem will go away.. whats wierd is when it's make'n the noise / bump the tires look like their going over washboard road..

ok it was almost deffinatly the clutch.. on my 5th tank i tuned it / leaned it out and holy SCHMOKES this truck rocks.. no more jitter just plain insanity.. hopefully i didn't jump the gun on leaning it out but i had to see it rock.. the temp only got up to 249 so hopefully i'm ok.. it's like 22 degrees ambiant here in utah.. anyone see any issues with my breakin? I idled 2 tanks... slow like slow drove 3 tanks.. and rock and roll on the last tank....

has anyone switched out the nylondrive shaft for the regular steel dogbone if so how doest the truck run with it ???
