Hi, I was looking at building my own reciever pack for my nitro buggy. Its a sanwa/airtronics radio system. What size cell would i use, im looking at a target of 1600mah at 6.0v. It's for a cen matrix and i belive the flat pack would fit fine. Is the 2/3a size the correct size for this application? thanks in advance

Yup, a 2/3A is generally the best size to use. I have seen guys build a RX pack from the AA size NiMh, but I think your RX better be a micro one to fit the RX pack and RX in the box.

2/3 hump all the way.... associated sells a nimh version and I find that it works great... don't forget to pack a lil foam in the box to keep things in place.
