Default skyion tx battery pack

can the skyion tx that comes with the GST use a rechargeable battery pack? if so what size and plug type....i downloaded the manual for the controler and couldn't see anything, and i've seached all over the place with no results...i do not own one of these yet, ordering next week but i want to make sure i order everything i am going to need...thanks

dont know about assembled battery packs but I do know you can use 8 AA Energizer rechargables that are 2500Mah. They do last quite awhile...

thats what i did, just bouth 8 duracell 2500Mah rechargable. leave them in teh battery tray and plug the whole try into the charger. it also easier to spec each cell when you want to flatten out the carge in the pack.
i dumped the Skion though. but i do use it on my indoor elect TT-01.

im probably already dumping close to 900 dollars on this truck and accessories...so upgrading the controler right away isn't an option.....but the controler does have a plug on it for a wall charger? so i wouldn't have to keep taking the batteries out and whatnot...??

Yes it does and no you won't have to take the batteries out
