I have about 4 gallons through my Genesis LE. A couple weeks ago the throttle servo stopped working. I took it apart and the circuit board was burned (a microchip literally fell out). Bought a new stock servo off eBay. One tank later, the steering servo stopped working. I took it apart and the pinion gear was stripped. This time I bought a Hitec HS-5645 digital servo. Even though that servo is rated similar to the stock one, the digital Hitec performs night and day better (faster, stronger). I couldn't believe how well it steers now. Unfortunately the stock servo I bought to replace the burned out throttle servo is glitching like crazy, so I had to move the F/R servo into throttle duty just to use the truck. Are these stock CEN Skyion servos junk? I'm beginning to think so. I want to get another Hitec 5645 for the throttle, but am worried about how the run-time will be with a 1200mah receiver pack (the digital servos use more power). Any experiences with multiple digital servos? Funny that the web page for the GST says you will never need to replace the servos. I think I've had to replace 30% of the truck so far, the servos are just the latest part to fail.
