i was told by my LHS that i should use a receiver pack rather then batteries. he said the pack wold be stronger then regular batteries. i can see when i turn the gst the stearing dont really turn that much is it because its idel? also when it was running i noticed the trasmission gears moving is that normal and when it gets low on gas it would jump from netrual to full throtle is that normal also? thanks for your help guys.

want better steering?? ther are two very common mods to do 1) Hitec HS9599MG servo 330oz of torque Approx, $110-$130 with shipping Or 2) Dual servo steering mod. Approx $30-$45

dude at my lhs told me that his kill switch didn't work because of his hump pack. it kicks in at 4. something and his pack was pushing 6 or some crap....dumpster kicked his trucks @$$

smokingpoo, lol, just busting on your name, I laugh almost everytime I see it and think of smokingpoo.. If you are talking about the failsafe that comes with the Genesis, I use it in my Nemesis and a 1400Mah hump with no issues. was he using a different brand?

I don't know. think he said he had a loaded lst. He looked really out of it when I got to the shop. almost talked me into getting the lst2 but i'm to hard headed for that.

is a hump pack the same thing as a receiver pack? also if i do get a receiver pack/hump pack what kind should i get and how much power?

Yes they are the same, but the hump pack just refers to the configuration, Burningpoo is right 3 on bottom and 2 on top. more of a compact design, meant to fit in places that the 4aa's fit.
