Default IGNITER ISSUES, PLEASE HELP!

OK, I need some help. Today was break in day for my MTRIX RTR. Went to the open lot. Everything was ready to go. Fuel, batteries, Igniter was charged... or so I thought. I am using the DuraTrax DTXP3000 Rechargeable igniter. I got this thing a couple of weeks ago and charged it for 15 hours initially. Then it rained and rained so I am just getting to my buggy today which is almost 2 weeks after I charged my igniter. Pull after pull after pull. I could not get my Matrix started. I noticed that the igniter was not getting the glow plug to "GLOW?" Is there any way that the charge on the DURATRAX IGNITER may have faded over 12 or so days? I have it on the charger right now so we will see what happens tomorrow. For now I am frustrated so any help from those of you with more experience would be great... PLEASE HELP! THANKS!!!

The battery will loose its charge. You should charge it 8 to 12 hrs and try it again. Joe

Great info. I am not discouraged though. I am charging the igniter again now. Its all learning and to me thats half the fun. I went through the same learning curve with Electric on road. really wanted to bring my Matrix to life today though!

A good Idea is to have a non rechargable glow ignitor on hand as a back up. Nothi9ng more frustrating than having your day ruined by one dead battery [:@]

somethig like this: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXNZA4&P=7
