Hey ben, Welcome to the boards and the wonderful world of CEN ownership.

CEN's Website has all the manuals for download [link=http://www.cenracing.com/download.html]Found on this page[/link]

It sounds like your oneway has failed. If you just got this truck brand new within the last 60 days then your one way is under warranty, however if its not under warranty you can replace just the bearing by following [link=http://www.cenracing.com/downloads/TRonewaywriteup.doc]My step by step instructions Found CEN's Download page above all the way at the bottom or follow this download link!![/link]

BTW: you siad you have the rotostart fitted and you just got the truck, right?? Did you run at least 1 gallon thru the engine before you fitted the rotostart? If so then your warranty is voided, I think..Check what CEn says about that before you take my word for it. They are pretty good about warranty issues, usually.

Good luck and have fun

ok, i go it working, i guess my drill was spinning to fast or something and the starer wsnt catching, so I tried a smaller slower drill and it started up perfectly. I'll post some pics later. I have no idea about the starter being installed, i bought it used a a rc shop, a guy bought it for his kid but it was too fast so he downgraded. This site is awesome I have alrady read a bunch of posts about the genesis. I was thinking about removing the exhausts baffle, how do i do this, and is it worth it?? I want to mod this thing up but im only 15 so funds are kinda low haha i still owe my dad 300 for the truck.

thanks guys

Good job ben, yeah sometimes it can be spun too fast, but that is a sign the one way is going to fail, so you might want to get prepared to replace it, you can buy one from eBay for about $15 shipped, I realize your allowance is used up for awhile so, cut som grass for somebody or something to start collecting a few parts and tools you will need.

good luck buddy and dont get discouraged we are all here to help when things dont go well..This is an awsome site, keep looking around see what you find

Ben removing the baffle helps the truck sound meaner and louder, you get a small performance gain but not enough to really notice unless you race every weekend. and yes it is very easy to remove you just have to take out the four screws on the muffler, be careful you can break the screws if they are on too tight. Now leave the cone in but remove the multi -holed baffle.

As far as tires go, you might want to fit 40 Series tires on any 40 series rims with a 19mm hex, which hard to find. A common mod is to fit the Nemesis 23mm drive hex so you have many more rim choices. Check out the shoes on my nemesis:

EDIT ADDED: click on my name to see my gallery, I think you will see several things you like. I have modded the living life out of my Nemesis, rate a couple pics too if you like..
