I use the Ofna 1/8 Off-Road Compact Starter Box, works really well. You will have to chamfer the edges of the fly wheel slot in th chassie so the start wheel dosen't hit. If you use this starter don't use any spacers at all the starter won't catch the flywheel if you do.
if you need any more help with this starter box let me know i can take pic's of how i have my stuff set up.

Just a quick note, if you are going to run the stock Matrix flywheel, it seems smaller than say an OFNA or Mugen so you may have difficulties getting the starter box wheel to make a good solid contact with the flywheel. I replaced mine with a Mugen flywheel when I replaced the engine. Some people dremel out the flywheel opening on the chassis but I preferred not to grind it up. Otherwise, the OFNA chrome top starter box works well. Its just a bit bulky and heavier than the compact one. I would go with the one that ebxxxmaxx mentioned. It works great and is lightweight too.
