I've read around about people modding their stock GST tuned pipe, taking out the baffle(s). How does that affect the motors torque curve, does it typically give you more low-end punch, top-end speed, or just plain more all around?
Last night after running a few tanks through it I went home and removed the "ring" baffle and left in the "cone" looking one since that one retains the o-ring seal, without it the pipe would possibly leak?
All noise levels aside, what is everyones thoughts on these mods and are they worth it?

Ok so after much testing and throttle mashing I've come to the conclusion removing the front "ring" looking baffle has little to no affect what so ever on performance or sound levels. However removing both baffles specifically the cone looking one made a noticeable difference in both power and sound levels, I now have a better feel in the throttle when I punch it, and it seems to jump initially harder then before, and the top end seems slightly better. It also sounds a lot deeper similar to one of those 50cc mini-bikes.
Anyways, if anyone gets a pipe for their NX76 motor or does anything with their exhaust yielding any power gains you should post some info on it.
