Hi All, a little help please. I have SEARCHED THIS FORUM for this but its tough to get the answers I need clearly. So, it looks like I have hurt my pull starter after 1/2 a gallon of running my new Matrix RTR. I took it off and re-wrapped it but I think I hurt the spring inside so its not right. Ya never really know how hard to NOT pull the pull start. its my bad but I want to make the buggy better every time I hurt or break something. Oh well, chock it up to learning.
Here is my question. Should I replace the pull start or go to a starter box settup? The starter box settup looks slick! I am leaning that way. I have 7.2volt packs hanging around from my indoor electric days so the expense would be minimal. Can anyone suggest a starter box for my Matrix? there seems to be so much confusion about which box works and which one does not. I want to buy one that works out of the box. Next, I am wondering what I'd need to do about the back of my motor? Is there a stock cover I can buy or do I need to make modifications?
Thanks for the help with this one all...

Starter box is a worthwhile investment. It can always be configured to work with most of the other RC Cars you have now or plan to get later.
My personal choice for a box is the ofna twin 775 motor one that runs on 2 6 cell stick packs. Part number 10244
