What would you guys consider mandatory upgrades, for either the RTR or the kit. I have the RTR, and the first thing to go was the upper crank bell. After replacing that with the CNC unit, the next thing I broke was a steering knuckle. I have the CNC ones on order (kinda expensive) I've bent my stock front shock tower, and I bent it back, but I now find it bends quite easily, so I've ordered the CNC front shock tower now.

Yeah, the upper bell crank was a must. I too just bent a shock tower. I am very torn as to wether it is worth the loot to go with the anodized red shock towers or just replace with a stock one? Are the CNC shock towers worth the money? Lighter? Stronger? Hmmm? To lighten the car all the interior chassis plates and radio plates are now carbon fiber. Very torn over the CNC parts???

Hi laydback,
What about the shock towers would you say I need? Are they lighter or stronger? I know they look better but its an expensive part to look better!

The cnc shock towers are thicker in all the right places they weigh the same as the stock so your not gaining any extra weight by putting these on. over all they are well worth the dough to to buy them.
