I bought a mint OFNA Chrome top through EBAY for my Matrix buggy with the stock NX-26 engine. Used but barely... looks new!
The battery that came with it has been charging for almost 16 hours. The wheel spins super fast but when the wheel makes contact with the flywheel it BARELY turns the engine over. What can this be? I thought it would spin the %^&$&^%$ out of the engine! Is it a bad battery? Does it need more charging? Sorry if this is vague but can anyone help?

Matty,
I have the same starter box. If you have the stock flywheel on your Matrix, the box wheel will have some difficulty making contact with it because the stock flywheel is small in diameter. I replaced mine with a Mugen flywheel and don't have any problems making contact. Some people use a dremel tool to make the flywheel opening bigger on the chassis. You can do this as well too. You may also have a bad battery too. When I got my starter box, it was used and the battery has seen better days so no matter how long it charges, it doesn't seem to have enough juice to spin my motor. Good luck.
