Sometimes you have to wait a while in order to get a response.

Now, as far as your problem, You may have an air leak as devo208 mentioned or maybe you need more airflow to the cooling head. Do you have a hole cut out in the windsheild of the body?
If it is an air leak, you are going to have to seal up the carb and pullstart backplate with some high temp sealer. Hope this helps.

I dont even have the body on the truck at the time of running it. But i will try to seal the carb and the backplate, is there a cerrtain kind of sealent or brand that you could suggest. And how can i check if there is a fuel leak, I can hold the truck upside down and no fuel leaks out from it. And sorry i was being a little impatient, it is just very frustrating having the hsn as rich as rich can get and the temp dosent go down at all.

Been there,Done that.Never did get mine cooled down.Ended up burning out the engine[:@]My friend, you can keep on trying that CEN engine if you want, but the O.S. CVR-X.18 is a blessing from god for those fonfactorsGet the O.S. engine, and within the first half hour of running it,you will be tempted to toss the factory engine in a lake[X(]

LOL, i was going to buy an OS but the guy at my LHS said that it would be to much power and i would be striping the spur gears ( I think thats what there called)left and right. But i'm thinking of buying it, i think it was for $160.00. Is that a good price.

Go to your local auto parts store and get some high temp rtv sealant. Also, check your fuel lines for any pin holes or tears in it. Hope this helps you out. Theres nothing worse than having a new RC that gives you those kinds of problems. Unfortunately, it can happen to any brand of RC so, don't give up. If all else fails, call CEN and talk to Notch. Hes a stand up guy and has helped me in the past with some issues I was having with my Matrix.

$160.00 is WAY TOO MUCH[X(]Shop around a little.Just google O.S. CVRX.18,and youll see what they go for.As far as this being too much motor,ANY motor, including stock is too much for the funfactor in stock config.Gear strippage was one of the main defects of the funfactor in stock config but has nothing to do with the engine power[X(]Luckily our friends at CEN have been listening and have come up with a fixThey now offer upgraded hardened steel spurs and hardened steel pinions to match[>:]These new gears should allow you to attach all the motor you need and then some[:-]Good luck however you decide to go.I do feel your pain. Some VX engines run fine, but some will run hot no matter what.Like I said before,The O.S.CVRX.18 is a blessing from god for the funfactor.Good Luck
