Default brakes and sterring

1st question-Is there a way to make the brakes work any better for my funfactor, they dont work to well. 2nd question-I had just got a a new servo cause my old one had stripped gears and woulded turn left but it did turn right. Now that i have a new servo in, it turns left fine and wants to turn right but it cant. It gets stuck in the middle of a right turn when you try to turn the wheels right, and I just here the servo spinning or something. but it does turn all the way right with a little nudg from my finger, and gets stuck on the way back to the center, untill i nudg it with my finger. I took the new servo apart and it looks totally fine. And every thing was lined up straight when i installed it. I also took the whole front end off, and nothing seems to be binding at all. Sorry if that sounded a little confusing[8D] Any suggestion would be helpfull.

NO THE NEW STERRING SERVO IS NOT STRIPED, I TOOK IT APART AND LOOKED AT IT. AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GET AN UPGRADE FOR THE BRAKES, I ASKED IF THERE IS A WAY TO MAKE THEM WORK BETTER. IF NOT, JUST SAY NO. OR HOW BOUT YOU SEND ME A FREE UPGRADE. SINCE I SPENT LIKE $400 FOR THE THING AND HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH IT.
