Has any one broke a connecting rod? And how easy do they break? I cleaned my motor out with wd40. And let it sit for three days went to start it and it started and ran fine for less than one min. Then the motor died went to start and it would not spin over. I thought it was flooded so i pulled the glow plug. There i seen little bits of aluminum on top of the piston. So i broke down the motor for the first time and the rod was broken. I just want to no if anyone has nad porblems like this?

connecting rod part # G70357-07...that's the # in the exploded view in the back of my book, didn't find it in the parts list when I quickly looked over it so I'm mostly sure that's the number you need.
Keep a eye on ebay and get the rebuild kit with the piston and sleeve along with it. The kit has been going for about $40-50 usd. Good luck, I just got ALOT of parts in the mail the past few days for around $100.
