Default shift whin 7.7

My genesis is whining when it hits second gear or take off and then stops the whining. Should I be worried? It still seems to work fine but if this is a problem it needs to be fixed before anything else breaks. Thanks

Check your gears, gear mesh and bearings. Sounds like something is loose..

OK, Drove it a little today and stoped to refuel and the gear came off the clutch bell(second gear). That might mean I had the egine sat wrong or it was loose in the first place. I never took these off the bell. What locktit should I use on this gear. Any help or commets would be great. Thanks
