Default RECEIVER BATTERY PACK ?'s

I have been running an OFNA 1600 MAH NIMH Pack in my Matrix buggy for over a year. It has worked flawlessly and I love it. I easily get an afternoon of racing out of the one pack with no hiccups. I recently blew my steering servo and a lot of the reviews I have read of the high torque servos out there say to step up to a bigger receiver pack size to increase run times.
SO:
Is this true? Yes, I could just buy more packs but will the 1600 mah pack not be enough for high end servos?
The largest NIMH pack I can find anywhere is 1600 MAH. It seems as though noone is making larger ones in the small 5 cell hump pack design. Does anyone or am I stuck???
Thanks for the info!
