I was wondering if the roto start backplate that fits the matrix buggy would also fit the truggy.
If that wont work, will i have to do any modifications to use a starter box?

The Buggy had the NX-26 engine in it until a few months ago. Now the Buggy and Truggy come with the SH.28. WWWWAAAAYYYYY better motor! I dont THINK the roto start backplate for the nx-26 will fot the SH.28 but its worth asking CEN! Good Luck!

According to thane at a main the backplate is the same for the SH, XTM, Force and Picco motors, and looks the exact same at the roto start backplate cen sells for pretty much all their motors. I ordered the cen set up and if it wont work ill order the ofna backplate.

CEN told me the .46 backplate fit the sh28. It didn't. But the HPI backplate from Hobbytown fit (close enough) and, with the CEN gear, washers to clear the extruding disk under the one way nut, I got a pretty good roto-start. I sealed the 1/8" gap all around with a tube of gasket maker. I use my drill with the CEN roto bit. Note: the HPI roto bit slot is different, use both gears from the CEN part.
