I'm thinking about converting my Genesis to a brush-less setup. I'm tired of fighting the tuning issues, even with a new motor. Anyone know of a good combo to use. I was looking at the Mamba monster with the 2200kv motor, as well as the Novak hv 5.5 or 6.5. I plan to start with a twin NiHm setup but later switch to Lipos. I'm not looking for insane speed, I just want to get back to what the nitro can do. I also want to keep the three speed tranny and the reverse, as well as the disc brake setup. How would I go about using the servo for the brakes when the esc will take over the slot on the rx for the throttle and brake servo. Are there any dbl pinions that will work for the first and second gear.

The esc will not stop the truck the tranny has a one way bearing in it so it will only spin when you try to stop it and the truck will keep rolling

find a way to lock the one way bearing. You could even drop some krazy glue into the one way bearing.
