Hey, just got my Nemesis a few days ago. I'm completely new to this but I've been reading old threads for the past few weeks and I already have the Ofna primer valve in hand ready to install. The truck is used and the previous owner CLAIMED it was broken in properly (6 tanks), and hadn't been through a gallon yet. Obviously I don't have a clue as to what it's really been through but I got it started yesterday and the engine did not idle smoothly, it was sputtering and if I tapped my trigger too hard it would just cut off. I could gently move about but that's it.
I'm still learning about nitro engines and I found the 2 needles, just gotta figure out which does what. I'm assuming I should go ahead and install that Ofna valve and go from there. Is installation as simple as running the tube to both end of the valve? I read one thread mentioning pulling out a stone????? I know there is a older thread on it already so I'll find it. Also I'm trying to find a good price on a Hitec servo right now, cheapest so far is on ebay for $98. Any other tips not covered in older threads I've been reading would be most appreciated. Thanx.

Sounds like youre running rich, wich is a good thing. You need to goahead and install the OFNA.It will be much more easy to tune. There should be pictures in the previous threads on the correct way to install it.As far as removing a stone,I never did that to mine. The NEMESIS is not an "entry level"truck, but you can learn with it if you let these guys walk you through it.All the help you will ever need will be here shortly to help.I will warn you, theres one guy that will be here that only has negative things to say about cen.You will know who he is when the time comes.Just ignore him.Its hard for me to explain how to get your truck running when you dont know the difference between rich and lean or your high from low end needles, but be patient and help will be here to walk you through.

Thank you, I was just checking out your Nemesis last week, SWEET! I've got some of the basics down, rich=longer engine life, lean=faster, always having a nice line of smoke coming out of the pipe is a good thing...I'm getting there. Thanx again.

LOL.... Well I installed the OFNA primer valve and it ran good, still working out a few problems. Sometimes after getting it started it just shuts down. I also had my first crash yesterday, my wife thought it was pretty funny but when I saw the rear left tire go flying in one direction and the truck in the other I got a little worried. Sheared the wheel axle but I replaced it in less than 5 minutes, pretty easy fix.
