Guys,
I was given this model back in the summer, is in very good condition and has balsa covered foam wings with quite a nicely moulded glass fuselage. It has the letters 'FK' stamped on the wing skin but i am not sure if this the balsa manufacturer or the kit? it is a 40 size model, will measure the span when i get home tomorrow. I will be finishing it over the winter but would really like to know what it is.

Jamie,
FK is the manufacturer. It is one of the airplanes pictured here, but I'm not sure which one. Someone will know...

I see a Curare, Blue Angle and Arrow on that page. I'm not sure what the other couple of ships are but someone might know their "real" names.

Cheers guys thanks for all your help, looks like it is a Jetstar. Looking at 70's flyer's kit it has factory cut out retract wells which mine does not. Certainly looks like a very nice model, definitely a keeper!
