The field will be open Friday at 11:00. The Microtel in Gardendale is the closest place to the field.
There is also a Best Western in Gardendale - It is NOT recommended!!

Dave, I sure hate to say this, but my son, Nick and I are not going to be able to attend the April CPA/BPA contest. My wife and I are going on a cruise to Jamaica Apr 4th. I hope we will be able to attend something down there later in the year.

Chris,
I took the tank out of my Saturn and checked all the plumbing. I believe the overflow tube in the tank may have been touching the top of the tank and not allowing enough air flow. I shortened the overflow tube and re-installed the tank. Haven't had a chance to test fly it yet because of the lousy flying weather we have had this winter.
I also replaced the OPS engine bearings.
Hopefully one of those two things will fix the problem. If not I may be in the market for a different engine. Thinking about the Evolution .60 from Horizon. I wish it was a rear exhaust engine.
Talk to you later,
Ralph

Good to hear you found some items that could do it. We flew into Chicago the other day and it was 65 degrees! Looks like you'll have some decent weather here pretty soon.
See ya soon,
