I am in need of some recommendation. What prop to use on my YS 60 RE engine. I have it mounted on a Bridi Escape with a tuned muffler, plan to run 20%-25% Pro Pattern fuel thru it.
I used to run a 12x10 on my old YS 61 AR (Long Stroke) on my Summitt III many years ago.
I don't know what RPM's to expect from it. I have an 11x10 presently mounted.
Any advise is welcome.
Thanks in advance

YS 60’s “Round Head”
Props from 11/8 to 11/11 should be fine considering your airframe (Bridi Escape/XLT)
This motor will work well with various props and pitches, depending on what you’re after as far as performance.
“Ballistic with low pitch, quieter with high pitches.”
Here are some rpm figures for the YS 60

You’ll be very happy and surprised with this motor Orlando.
“Most powerful 60 size production engine ever made in my book”
My Favorite fuel assisted motor.

ORIGINAL: crashlander
That's the info I was looking for, Paul.
Next I'll start the engine and get the header length established and go fly.
Thanks again.

I cant wait to fire mine up after the radio install . I have never dealt with one of these
YS Carbs , does anyone have an instruction sheet they could scan and post ? I've dealt with many different carbs and don't think it's an issue but couldn't hurt to have some info on it . Thanks in advance !
