David,
You are right - it ismuch snow here up in the north in Sweden, alsothe town I live in. This winter it has snowed so muchso I have never experienced so much in my whole life time (I'm 49). There has also been extremely cold in November-December, some days down to minus 30-35 deg Celsius (minus 22 to minus 31 Fahrenheit). I have been skiing alot. Not much flying in the snow but during Christmas holidays I mounted skiis on an electric Sebart Angel S30 Eaerobatic machineand flew two days on a lake. It was minus 15-20 Celsius (5 to minus 4 Fahrenheit) but worked great to fly although I had a Raydiowarm with two Hot Rox inside to keep transmitter and my hands warm while flying. Otherwise it is most indoor F3P pattern flying for me in winter to keep flying skills alive.

Thanks Dan and Bem for the sources and Bem of Sweden for the M.A.N. pictures.
I have a Tiger Tail ,built from M.A.N. plans (no longer available) constructed back in 1985 posted in my gallery but after the third repaint its HEAVY-so its collecting dust.
Years ago had a "Bobcat,"the 40 size Tiger Tail powered with an H.P.40
