Default 3D Dirty Birdy?

One of our club members came out yesterday with an old Dirty Birdy that he pulled out of storage and breathed new life into. This was no straight restoration. He hacked and chopped on it, added parts from five other planes, put a 20cc DLE gas engine on it and has built a 3D Dirty Birdy. You read that right, a 3D-DB (extra credit if you get the reference).

Heres a couple of shots of it sitting next to my DB for comparision.

OH NOOOOO, A 3D DIRTY BIRDY! [X(]

The guy that did this should be thrown in Classic Pattern Prison for life! And a TAIL DRAGGER to boot! I'm gonna have nightmares for six months! Might even have to start seeing a therapist!

It's ummm...."different"!

3D DB...was that Mr. Whoopie's 3 dimensional drawing board, that he used when he had to explain something to Tennesee Tuxedo and Chumley? (or was that 3D BB? )

DB isn't meant for 3D. I like the tail dragger, tho. That is a plus!

Tennessee Tuxedo and Chumley- now THAT is classic.
The "3D" Dirty Birdy, well that's just wrong. Very wrong.

Fortunately for us, if it's been in Chernobyl it's probably sterile!

Sorry, I'm first in line.

When we set them up for the picture he said "Hey, mine has a different canopy." I said "No, mine has a different canopy!"

Sure is one Ugly Dirty Birdy. How well does it fly with the DLE 20 engine?
