OK, I HAVE THE BUG AND I WANT TO BUILD AND FLY SOME OF THE OLDER PATTERN PLANES THAT I USED TO. I HAVE A FEW KITS BUT CAN'T DECIDE WHICH ONE TO BUILD FIRST. I WAS THINKING I WILL POST A LIST OF THE KITS AND SEE WHAT EVERYONE THINKS ABOUT THE CHOICES AND THEN PICK FROM THE MOST POPULAR CHOICE. I LOVE THEM ALL SO I WON'T BE UPSET WITH WHATEVER THE POPULAR CHOICE IS.
HAVE:
MACH ONE
TIPPO (GREAT PLANES)
VERTIGO II
J J TROUBLEMAKER
DIRTY BIRDY
PHOENIX 8
LOOKING FOR:
BRUSHFIRE
DECEPTION
EU-1A
SUMMIT II
THANKS,
KIRK
PS. SORRY FOR THE CAPS, NEXT TIME I WILL MAKE SURE THE CAP LOCK IS OFF.

Hey Kirk,
Scott (of the Classic Pattern Association) sells a short kit (foam cores and fiberglass canopy) of the Deception (they are very nice, I bought a set). Dan Hines at Carolina Custom Aircraft sells kits of the EU1-A and the Brushfire. FrequentFlier (his R/C U name) also sells the EU1-A fuse and should be able to provide an entire kit, but check with him first.
What engines do you have to power these classics?

PS I have one of Dan's EU1-A kits - very nice (he has the original molds)

At this point I am engineless but after picking which kit to build I will hunt down a power plant to match. Would love to come by and see you EU-1A if you wouldn't mind. I have contacted both regarding kits and will be ordering ASAP.
Thanks,
Kirk Wicker

Hi Kirk,
I will be delivering a couple of kits that I'm selling on Saturday. I'll be meeting the buyer at the Potomac Mills mall around noon. I can bring the EU1-A fuselage (and cores if you want) for your viewing pleasure. We can meet there are somewhere south of the mall near I95.
