I did the bottom of the wing with big checkers so I can see it well. Just need to do the lettering and shoot the clear coat.

Finally got a day to work on my own planes instead of building orders. I did the lettering on the fuselage. Here is a picture. Clear coat tomorrow I hope.

Very nice. I may copy some of that paint scheme on my P-8.

David.
Actually it is a Kaos, modified a little bit, Rounded the fuse a little extra, larger triangle stock used inside fuse when I built it. Rounded the nose, rounded the tail fin and added a skid under the fuse to complete the look. I also added about 5" to the wing span and extended the wing tips to cover the edge of the ailerons. I added extended tips on the stab as well. No retracts just the fixed gear for now to keep the cost down. I made a glass canopy from my UFO mold and added it on the wood fuse. I didn't have a KAOS canopy. Lets see what else...Oh I put in two separate servos for ailerons, pull pull for the rudder and a split push rod for the elevators. Uhm....I think that's it.. It does look like a Dirty Bridi doesn't it? Well I didn't realize it until I was done building it. I should have just made one of my glass DB.

Don,

Very nice Kaos! The mods that you did look very much along the lines of what I'd like to do. I drew some plans up for a 30 size and they contain those changes. Your model looks classic yet sleek and fast and has lines which are more graceful. I guess the changes bring it a little closer to a DB.

Nice color scheme too!

Man, that thing hauls ass. What is top speed now that you have it broke in? Are you flying on an active state highway ?
