Default YS60FR early version?

I have acquired a YS60FR engine, which appears to be slightly different from the other YS60FR I had. To start off, the needle valve does not have the usual pointed end. It had like a loose copper tube inside the needle valve, and the needle socket seems to be different too. The throttle arm has a circular plastic base on it. The throttle body, regulator body and the back plate seems to be chrome like in color. It included a Japanese manual too. Is this the early version of the YS60FR? I will try to post some pics..

Photos will help!
Is the engine 'ABC' or ringed? What does the pressure regulator adjustment look like - knurled knob or screw driver slot?

Hi flywilly,

It appears to be an ABC engine, with screw driver slot. I have removed the needle socket, seems to be different than the regular YS60FR, as shown in the English version manual that we usually have. I don't have any idea how to remove the inward needle socket.. Here are the pictures..

Not sure, but it could be the helicopter version. They did have some differences in the carburetor.

The high speed needle is broken ?

It's not heli though, I have some of those.

It's just a varient of thevery early version. Take a look at the polished metal used in the carb and regulator assembly.

Very tight fitting piston/sleeve's on these.
