Default Pattern Plane ID Help please

Hi Guys,
I am hoping that somebody on here may help me out. Back in the 1970's my dad had a plane that had a glass fuselage, and I think the wings were glassed by the kit maker. I know my dad made a real big deal about this and it was one on his favorite planes to fly. It had what looked like a chin scoop and the canopy was very far forward.
If anyone might have an idea of what it might have been please let me know. I would like to try to find one, but have no clue at to what name to look for. Wish I could be of more help.

Thanks
Steve

Hi Free Bird,
Ding, ding, ding you got it, thank you so very much, now I know what to look for. I want to build it just like he did. I have a vintage set of brand new Rhom-Aire retracts, a NIB Super Tigre G-60 ABC Blue head, now all I need is the plane. I have to start looking for it now. I want to get it and give it to my dad. Figure it will make a great 75th birthday present.

OK who has one for sale LOL
