I recently purchased a Zimbabwe (ZMP) Deluxe Kit (I think that's what they called them) of Kristensen's Summit-I.

Unfortunately it came without any documentation (plans/manual) and the forward PET canopy. Would anyone have the info and the canopy from a similar kit? My pipe pan is also quite warped which maybe can be fixed but otherwise I might need a replacement one.

The fuse is rather unusual in that it has no opening for access to the radio bay. The only opening is from the front to install the FW and, to a certain extent, the engine mounting beams. Evidently an opening must be made to install other wood parts and the radio but it is not clear to me how the manufacturers intended this to be done.

Many thanks,

David

I took a few pictures back in 1983. Recognize?

3rd photo left to right: Ivan's wife; don't know; Ivan; don't know; Steve Helms; Don't know; don't know.
I don't recognize the airplane, But Ivan flew a Citation at the US Nationals that year.
Very cool photos! Thanks for sharing - and the u-tube video, too!
