"Honey, what's another $450...?"
I think this one is more than the cost of the new Austrian ARF, which I suppose is not surprising.
The things we'll do for some balsa wood that's been pre-sanded a little. Or maybe it's the cool MK hardware or the vinyl stickers and glossy brochures.
All said and done, MK kits to us are like Louis Vuitton bags to women. [8D]

What's somewhat surprising is the fact that MK has not restarted their old kit lines back up. Considering how much these old kits are fetching these days, one can only hope I suppose.
I know I'd buy a few......but not at $500 for a 40 size. Although I wouldn't expect a current kit to go for what it did back then ($70 maybe?) I'd pay $200. And I've gotta believe that with today's advances, these kits' manufacturing cost should be much lower.
