Default Arrow .60 suggestions

A couple of weeks ago I received a fabulous looking Arrow .60, primed and ready to paint. My problem is that the fuse has the turtledeck included. They are a single unit. I am thinking of the best option to proceed. I have another Arrow with a Jett .90 which has required access to the pipe/header several times, so I don't know if leaving this new one as it is, with the limitations of having to access the pipe from the inside of the fuse.

Other options include using a side exhaust engine, but I feel this would degrade the elegance of the Arrow's design. Another reason to not do this is that I have a Picco .80 RE ready for it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks all.

Ed

Hi Ed,
Is this a fiberglass fuselage? No pipe tunnel floor? If this is an all glass fuselage, I would put a pipe tunnel floor in then cut enough of the top deck off to make an access hatch for the pipe.

Will, it is a FG fuse, no pipe tunnel floor. I like your idea. I'll sketch something.

Thanks!
Ed
