I'm feeling pretty Jazzed. A fellow D7 pattern pilot passed some classics my way. Among them were an Arrow and an Aurora. I also got fuselages and cores for a Banshee and Brushfire. After my upcoming move looks like some refurbishing and building.

I haven’t done too much R/C lately due to moving from Sacramento to Portland. I did manage to get to a swap meet in McMinville this morning. Managed to find a couple gems. First is a newly rebuilt OS RFP .61. The second is a NIB Andrews Aeromaster kit. The engine will eventually go into my Aurora and the Aeromaster will be powered with a ST .61 ABC and Jett mufflers combo that I have. It’s shaping up to be a busy spring/summer.

Welcome to Oregon! I went to the McMinnville annual swap meet too, but didnt find anything calling my name. Its a fun event! So you are in the Portland area...just wondering what club or location you will be flying at? I fly in Dallas if you ever want to explore this far south.

Thank you very much for the invite. I will most certainly be taking you up on it. My wife and I do enjoy getting out and exploring. One of our mottos is " Adventure is out there ". I have been out flying a few times and have joined the Molalla club. I intend to go visit the Dusters club in Woodburn as well. I also have an addiction for sailplanes so I will be visiting the PASS field in Saint Paul next weekend. I haven't been able to get out much yet as I am still working in Sacramento. That ends on the 20th and after that I will be in Happy Valley permanently. My plans have somewhat changed with regards to the classics. I may be listing them. As much as I would like to refinish them and get them flying, I don't think I will have the time. I've been more interested in playing Grandpa lately then working on models.
