Hello Everyone,

I have been down the rabbit hole trying to find the EMC2 designed by Dick Hanson in the 90's. IMO, has to be one of the best looking 2m pattern models of all time!

Was able to hunt down man named Rich Lee, who owned the molds for several Dick Hanson models. However, it appears that he no longer has the molds and has since sold them off. Does anyone know the whereabouts of the Dick Hanson molds? Alternative plan would be to buy an EMC2...if there is one floating around out there.

Any help is greatly appreciated in the scavenger hunt!

Rich Lee sold all his Dick Hanson molds to Ballistic Aircraft who then sold them to Aerocompositesrc.com where they currently reside. The owners are not currently producing kits from the molds, but will consider loaning them for you to make your own.

I actually have an EMC2 I was planning to fly in a contest or two this year but there appear to be no events other than Hodges. Let me know if you're interested.

Still very interested in buying an EMC2, but there is no way I could make the drive down to Alabama.

If anyone near the Ohio/Indiana area has one please reach out.

If only it were that easy my friend. They stopped making kits several years ago unfortunately.
