It’s wonderful to see these great pattern ships posted on the RCU and under construction. There is a Great Plans kit listed on ebay right now. Is your kit a GP kit?

I still have 2 more colors to put on it by the way. The base color is a Candy red w/ gold flake, the second color is a metallic gray, then a med metallic blue and a yellow metallic. It should be very visible. LOL

Thanks 8178. You will be mad at me though. I converted it to a tail dragger. LOL

8178, do still have a Kaos 40 kit unopened at your shop? Is it up for sale? Just email me.

Thanks,

Jim

Nice paint job, but don't throw it out in the trash. Judging by the yard, I'm surprised you have the time to paint and build a Dirty Birdy. Noticed the lawn mower and preschool kids yard toys.

LOL, yeah it does get hectic around here at times. But the wife is good about giving me 2 hours a day for my "toys".

What is the plane under construction in the three indoor photos, behind the dirty birdy?

Tried to PM you but it wouldn’t work. I still have it but plan on building it. They show up on ebay every few weeks.

The one in the backround is a Bridi Escape. Either that or my UFo are next on the board. LOL
I think I will take alittle break when this is done, I haven't done a paint job in a while, now I remember why. LOL

I am shocked that there was no comment on the conversion to a tail dragger. LOL

Is it just me or does it seem like the older pattern ships seem to sell better, on the market place, than the newer birds ?

I keep hearing that. LOL

1. I hate setting up the steering linkage on the nose gear.

2. I couldn't locate the old "revlon" bottle fuel bottles we used to use. This engine is thirsty so I wanted a 16 oz tank. I decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and have her drag her butt. LOL
