aurora power system,need help on the classics

hello guys, i am gonna get a aurora 60 tonite together with a OS VR 60.......is there enough power for decent verticals? like big sq loops? any advised is much appreciated, thanks

It will be a good combination and give nice square loops. Not unlimited vertical as we see today however. Enjoy and post some photos when you get it.

Looks like you've got a nice plane there! The OS will be plenty of power for the Aurora.... optimum for that plane was the YS 60/61LS. Either way, the plane will do nice square loops... just.. don't try to "hover" it.... Aurora's don't hover... they fly!!!! Have fun !!!

The Aurora was designed before the OS long strokes or the YS long strokes were produced. I'm sure Mr. Naruke felt he had adequate power with an OS .61 VF/VR or a YS .60FR.
Enjoy your Aurora. It looks beautiful and the OS .61VR is a very reliable and powerful engine.
