Default Compensator

In finding the Gator Flea kit in my closet, I have been reminiscing about the old days. I had a Compensator with OS 61 that I midaired at a contest in Ft Walton FL. Loved that model. If I could find a NIB kit, I would love to build one now with the original Rhom retracts ( I still have them) but a new motor (probably a YS 91). Anybody know of a kit still around?

Gordie,

AMA plans service carries John Pond plans, which list the Compensator. This would be a option if you don't mind building from plans..

turbo.

I might end up doing that as a last resort but I built three of the Southern RC Kits and thsi would be as much for the nostalgia of that as to end up with the model. I bet there are many of these still around, like I still have the Gator Flea kit, but since it's not a large demand item, it just sits on the shelf................ at least that's what I'm hoping. Originally it was a MAN plan. Hmmmmm, I wonder.......................

<sigh> I guess I could plans build one but surely there is an original Southern RC kit around somewhere that someone would love to see built and treasured....... (I know, don't call me Shirley)
