pattren contest in TX.(interested?)

howdy fellow pattern pilots. I'm the pres. of the pairs r/c association in Pairs Texas. and my fellow club members and I have decided to have a pattern contest. and were wondering who would be interested in coming out.

I think if you give a little info., that would help. What era of pattern flying (and planes) are you looking to do a contest for? Something like the SPA style?

Im up for suggestions. Paris Texas is in the south east corner of texas. we have a very nice field with a paved runway.I flew pattern in the early 80's.and just got back into flying. And every thing has changed. could you tell me what SPA is. Is it a special interest group? do they have a web sit? I just finished a javelin that im going to test tomorrow. and im building a dirty birdy 60 from blue jay. and the others have similar aircraft.

thank you for the info.I need to make a correction on the directions to Paris Texas. Its in the north east corner of Texas.
