Open Classes at Cullman SPA
Gentlemen
Is anyone planning to fly any Open class at our contest April 22-23 in Cullman, AL? I need to know if I should order awards for these classes. Thanks.

RE: Open Classes at Cullman SPA
Jeez guys, everybody is talking about wanting to fly their late 70s and early 80s piped and retracted patternships in competition again, but when given the opportunity, it's all talk and no action, just like last year. It's a shame cause when given the chance to make your case for a class, nobody steps up. Steve has given fair warning on this forum since last October that he would again offer the class in April. I think it would be great to hear some screaming rpm next month, don't let this chance slip away, it will probably be your last judging by the underwelming response to this thread.

All I've got is my 15 year old Jekyll. I also don't have a work schedule yet for April. I'd like to come down there one year, but life keeps getting in my way! Hope ya'll have a great turnout.

Hi Steve,
I am a new guy in SPA, but I am currently building a Curare and just purchased of the RCU list a NIB Webra Speed 61 ABC rear exhust, I plan on building her with retracts and flaps just as she was designed. I won't have her ready till later this year, but I would love to fly it in the open class next year.
