No Aussie sites, but this is a great place to start:

http://www.bridiairplanes.com/

The Killer Chaos is a decent starting point and will fly sportsman sequences very well on a 60 or 90 2 stroke. The XLT is also a solid plane and fine for sportsman.

The CA Models widebody 40/60 and Epsilon 90 also have excellent reputations, are an easy build and reasonably priced.

All of these are kits (you won't find any ARF's in this forum), if you want ARF's look in the main Pattern forum and there are literally dozens of threads on good planes for starting out.
