Hi guys,
I have a LA-1 with a Hanno Special that I have had since about '92. It is a great flying, crowd pleasing machine but the mechanical retracts have always been a pain.
After every flight I have to bend the struts back so they will go into the wells cleanly. If I don't, the wheels will catch and not retract causing the servo to stall or the servo arm will slip.
Question: Which struts can I buy that will resist bending if I have a rather firm landing?
Thanks!
Pete

Hi Pete,
The Titanium struts from Central hobbies work better than the stock structs. It won't resist structs bending from very hard landings, but if you do reasonable landings, it shouldn't need any bending.

Kevin
