Default Super Tigre Blue Head 60 muffler

I am trying to find a solution for a muffler on a Super Tigre Blue Head 60. I have purchased a number of Semco mufflers & adaptor's but the Tigre'e exhaust port is so much larger than other 60 size engines I am having problems locating either the correct size adapter or I need a different muffler solution. The engine is going into a HHS Primus mounted upright. Any ideas you may have you can either post here or email me privately.

Thanks in advance,

Marty

I recall that a sixty sized Semco strapped on without an adaptor worked. That of course doesn't bolt on.

You could try one of the MACS one-piece mufflers. They have adaptors for the G60

Marty, I was lucky enough to purchase two Blueheads last year, one slightly used and one NIB. The used one came with the muffler that is currently used by the ST .61 and it fits the Bluehead. No, it won't have the "ring-a-ding-ding" sound when you let off of it (don't you just love it!) that the old stock mufflers and the Semco mufflers had but they are a helluva lot quieter than the open faced mufflers! The Mac's one piece muffler sounds like a great idea and that's what I'll probably go with. My Southern R/C Tigertail will be built this year! With Southern R/C tri-gear retracts, of course!

Thanks for the posts guys and Frank, I will check out the Mac's one piece. I agree the Semco gave little more than a token muffling, almost as bad as the little Dubro baffle plate muffler.
