That was my first fiberglass plane back in high school... if you look at my profile photo, that is the Quality Line Kits Curare shown. It's a good, straightforward kit, comes with all the hardware to make the maneuvering flaps operational. Being inexperienced at the time, I ended up making mine about 12 pounds, but it was still able to break 140 mph downhill. I think mine had a fairly long 64" wing.

Quality Line has been out of business, like so many cottage kit mfgs., for years and years. The only place you are going to find a kit like this is in someone's basement, attic, or garage.[&o]

Thanks for the comments guys, I don't have a full kit, just the fuselage. I'm going to use it as a plug for a mold to reproduce it. I just picked up a new digital camera and as soon as I get done building my new shop, I'll start a thread about it, although it may be better suited over in the composites forum. Thanks Tim

I did this 15years ago plus with the Arrow. It was a locally produced kit here in Aus. Back then a freind and myself both bought one each to get into pattern. Then before we started making our Arrows we made a mould from one of the fueslarges. It was quite easy to do and I still have the mould for it. About five fueslarges came out of it. Looking back we were wrong to do this to someone elses hard work, but with the old out of production kits, go for it! Matt.

Matt, You're right, making the mold isn't too hard, the hard part is getting the plug PERFECT as any little defect will be in all your copies! Tim
