I recently bought an Utter Chaos kit on RCU ands thought I could modify it to use an OS .91 Four stroke for SPA contests. . I spliced the fuse in several locations and widened the fuse 1/2 inch to accomodate the engine. I had to lengthen the fuse to compensate for the extra engine weight. You will notice I also placed the elevator and rudder servos in the rear fuse to counter this weight. I has worked out well. Todays' test flights went well and I like the way the plane flies. I need to move the battery aft slightly to compensate for slight nose heaviness that is still there. Throughout the construction process I continually did c/g checks to make sure I was going to come out OK. Here are the pix from todays test flights ( 7/05/07 )

Skip, Nice plane. How much did you stretch the fuse ? I have a tower kit i'd like to use my 91fs in. Did you use two elev. servos or bellcrank system?

Great looking Utter Kaos! I got one myself I fly in SPA also. I use an Old OS .61FSR and hauls it around pretty good but I would like to try a .91four stroke on the next one. Just curious how your's performs with the .91 FS, and what did it weigh in at?

Hi Skip,
Good to see your Utter Kaos. I have a kit reserved and it will be on the way from a friend soon. I'm thinking either a C. Lee K&B .61 or a Saito .91 for mine. I have the K&B now.
Hope things are working out for you since we last talked here in Auburn. I'll PM you.
