Default Jim Ivey

I just read on the SPA website that we have lost Jim.

He was a great friend and competitor and will be missed.

Amen to that.

I heard the news waking in my motel room at the nats. Getting out of bed and going to fly toy planes was extremely difficult that day. But Jim had the second prototype to my new toy and was very excited about the whole thing, so I'm glad it did well and I think jim would've been happy to see us go out there and fly. That's what he would have done.

Not to be melodramatic, but it really was a difficult week for all of us that were really good friends with him. Jim was like an old kung fu master at the practice field. if he saw something you were messing up, he'd let you know...and then have you refly it until you had it perfect. Nothing less than 11s. "Come back and do it again".....man I'm going to miss Jim.

All 11s now Jim!!! Man what a flying field he must have.
