A local gave me a pair of retrct gears mostly of plastic with SS wire legs.
Onna side is printed W.M. LG 3500001 as I asume a part number. The old fellow who gave me the pair (a Rt. and Lt.) said they came of some middle 1980's pattern plane he had purchased and did not fly for years afterwards.
I assume that W.M. means World Models, but cannot find an advertisment mentioning such. Did these ONLY come inside some kit then? or, is my assumption wrong?

Wm,
That ole "picture worth a thousand words" saying is pretty close.... also.. Air operated cylinders or mechanical? what color are the main housings ? Generally... Black mechanical retracts are Dave Browns/Southern Pro... Green mechanicals are MK......air actuated are probably Rhom Airs even thought they could be Robarts... Perhaps you can post a picture and we can be of further help.
