I have this one the way am going to build it and fly it. Anyone have experience with it? The only modeltech I had was their cap and it was a poor flying plane, (TERRIBLEtipstalls, high stall speed).

I had one way back in the 70's. It has a semi symmetric wing and flys real good with an OS 40. Cramped up front but it will fit. Elevator and Rudder servos back near the tail for CG. RCM did a review of this "ready to cover" model and they put a 40 in ther's as well, don't know if I still have the artical any more or not. It did slow down nicely for landing. As I recall mine had a fixed - non stearable nose gear. It worked but elevator dual rates needed to be set high as the only way to turn it while taxiing was with full up elevator and juicing the throttle! Do yourself a favor and pick up a stearable nose gear -- my only suggestion. But it is still a nice looking airplane!

Jon you made my day. I will put a steerable nose gear, no prob. I had no idea this plane went all the way back to the 70's...thought for sure it was an 80's plane. Man, if you found and scanned that article I would be greatful. It would be neat to see what they said about it. This size of pattern plane fits a niche that i have been looking for THANKS JON !!!!!
