I got problems in working with an older plan. That is number 2801 by Model Builder magazine, circa 1980 for the Tiporare. I have looked and compared this to that but nowhere off these plans can I figure out the thickness for the tailfeathers on this aircraft. It just does not say. Nor does the accompanying article.
There is the general outline to the parts, but how thick are they? I contacted the main magazine source the other day, and he said if it wasn't noted in the article, then no one ever asked the question. What? No one ever built this off the plan?
Cumon guys. Has anyone an idea as to wood thicknesses or other dimensions here?

i don't think anyone needs to be pushed in this forum. the help here is world class. throw out a problem and most are only to eager to help. it just might take a while until all of the people have seen the thread. knowing some of these guys here, i will venture to say that someone probably keeps all of the tiporare dimensions on a folded sheet in his wallet

Dick Hanson is around on RCU and other RC sites as well. He designed the Tiporare, so shoot him a message. Also, as someone mentioned above, check the Curare plans. They use the same stab and fin thickness. Tipo fin is just squared off a little vs the Curare in profile.
